- 1969 EMAS established as a private company in Karakoy / Istanbul
- 1975 Moved to their first manufacture plant in Bayrampasa / Istanbul covering 800 m².
- 1978 Established SANLITOP company with the purpose of sales in retail electro-mechnical and electronic sectors. Currently SANLITOP is one of the EMAS’s distributor in local market.
- 1979 Transformed from a private company to a Corporation
- 1980 ETO company established, which assembles product s to EMAS
- 1985 Purchased a 500 m² building in Karakoy/Istanbul for EMAS Sales and Marketing departments.
- 1985 First exports of EMAS, to Middle Eastern markets
- 1987 Production capacity increased to 3.000 m² through additional construction in Bayrampasa/Istanbul
- 1997 All departments consolidated to a purpose built modern facility in Ikitelli Industrial Zone covering 16.000 m2 to allow for future expansion.
- 2001 Achieved Quality System Certification in compliance with ISO 9001
- 2004 In order to separate our production of automotive products, SAN company was established
- 2010 GSMU was established, to distribute other electrical brands of products into the Turkish market.
- 2013 Co-founder Mr. Gazanfer Sanlitop bought all shares and EMAS continue to be managed by Mr.Gazanfer Sanlitop, his wife and his children as a family owned company.
- 2015 Due to growing success ,EMASAS LTD.(Emas UK) was established.
- 2017 The foundation of the new facility covering 33,000m² in Deliklikaya-Hadımköy has been poured.
